シリーズの主人公である桐生一馬と人気キャラクターである真島吾朗の若かりし頃を描いた原点的な作品で、シナリオの完成度はシリーズ随一との呼び声も高くおなじみのゲスト俳優も小沢仁志さんや竹内力さんなど豪華な面々が揃っておりとにかく見どころが満載です。またシリーズ第1作に登場した人気キャラクター錦山彰についてのエピソードも描かれているので第1作をプレイした人には是非遊んでほしいです。
