5２０１７年年末に初めて聴いたときに本当に震えた。 「On Hold」素晴らしい傑作だ！派手さはさほどないのにとても壮大な曲に感じるのは ツインヴォーカルの妙と手数の少ない生音がクールで、ドラムマシーンによるミニマルなリズムもカッコいい。 アルバム全体を通すと1st,2ndと比べPOP寄りだが、エックスエックス特有のクールネスさも健在で入門編のアルバムとも言えようか。 やはりジェイミーのソロALからの影響もかなりあり、ロックとクラブミュージック、そしてブラックミュージックがうまく融合しているように思える。 まずは「On Hold」のMVから見てみては？きっと気に入るはず。0 people have found this review helpful.
