5ダーティー・プロジェクターズはデイヴ・ロングストレスのソロプロジェクトからスタートしたアメリカ・ブルックリン出身のインディバンド。このアルバムに収録の「Stillness Is the Move」を聴いて一瞬にして虜に。 一定のリズムで緩急のない調子の曲に、ポコポコとしたシンセ、うねうねとした繰り返されるギターリフと二人の女性ボーカルが乗っかるこの曲は、激しく盛り上がったり一緒に歌うタイプの曲でもないのだけど何故か癖になる。 アルバム全体通しても言えることだが、ギター中心の音楽だけどロックとゆうカテゴリーには収まらないどこか夢の世界の中にいるかのような浮遊感が漂っており、フォーキーでクラシカルなとこもあれば、すごくPOPな電子音楽でもある。0 people have found this review helpful.
